Medicare and Adults with Autism

The Insurance Resource Center for Autism and Behavioral Health will conduct a short-term research project to understand where autism fits in the current framework of Medicare, identify gaps, and formulate recommendations for mitigating barriers, to ensure that individuals obtaining coverage under Medicare maintain access to care. It is anticipated that a white paper on this important research topic will be completed by summer 2023.
